Minutes from 8-13-97 Board Meeting -
Second request for information disclosure to all board members (initial request was made in July Board meeting - documents would not be made available until December). Acting executive director Pat Chandler also reported that the funds were available for the down payment on the Colman school building. In spite of the funds being available Bob Flowers and Pat Chandler would conspire not to make the down payment.

Among these issues were the lack of equal distribution of information (documents) to all board members, lack of funds allocated for youth and community based programming.

Don King Architects Grievance Letter regarding fraudulent contract 1-13-97
Letter from architect Don King regarding fraudulent awarding of architectural contract to Jewish architectural firm Walter Schacht Architects in violation of the AAHMCC Board vote to award the contract to African American architect Mel Streeter. Walter Schact Architects was not in existence at the time the contract was bid on by architects from across the country. Don King would later become the architect for the Urban League Village project at Colman school.

AAHMCC Board Mtg Minutes - Vote for down payment 1-14-98
Minutes from 1-14-98 Board meeting at which the AAHMCC again voted for Bob Flowers to make the down payment on the Colman school which he never did. Flowers was also a member of the Urban League board at the time. In 2003 the Urban League purchased Colman school in violation of the school districts contract with the AAHMCC.

Letter to Constance Proctor verifying down payment funds available 1-23-98
Letter to Constance Proctor regarding the $34,000 provided by the city of Seattle to the AAHMCC acting executive director Pat Chandler to make the down payment on Colman school. Chandler conspired with Flowers to prevent the AAHMCC organization from securing the purchase of the building. The building was later purchased by the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle. Bob Flowers was also a member of the Urban League's Board of Directors, a direct conflict of interest as the Urban League would be the beneficiary of Flowers refusal to secure the building on behalf of the AAHMCC organization of which he was the chair.

Letter to Bob Flowers from Dan Grazyk of Seattle School District regarding Flowers refusal to make down payment even though the AAHMCC Board had voted for him to do so and the funds were available. Flowers was also a member of the Urban League Board of directors who would later purchase the building in violation of the contract with AAHMCC organization
